Where to….
My Approach
Rooted in Awareness. Built on Love. Designed for Freedom.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with thousands of clients — young adults, parents, and individuals of all stages, ages, and walks — helping them grow in self-awareness, emotional clarity, relational strength, and the skills needed to truly human well.
High school, college, and early adulthood are some of the most formative and challenging years—for both the young person navigating it and the parent supporting it. These years are full of learning, launching, loving, and letting go. They’re tender, stretching, and wildly important. But they’re also a golden opportunity:
To pause.
To reflect.
And to update the internal programming you inherited—so that your next chapter aligns with who you are becoming.
The work we do in The Practice of Being Human is from the inside out.
As you shift your inner world—your thoughts, beliefs, body, boundaries, and nervous system—your outer life naturally starts to reflect the change.
We don’t chase external outcomes. We embed values, tools, and awareness into your daily life so they become instinctive—your new way of being.
The goal isn’t to know more.
The goal is to become who you truly are underneath the stories, systems, and survival patterns.
That’s the real work. And that’s what we do in The Practice.
-
Understanding Your Brain
Your brain is powerful and protective—but if left unchecked, it can also be reactive, fearful, and rigid. Every brain is uniquely wired based on personal experiences, traumas, and inherited belief systems.
When you begin to understand how yours works—how it tries to protect you, how it filters your reality—you begin to reclaim your agency.
In this work, we bring compassion and curiosity to the brain.
We teach you how to build internal guardrails, calm your nervous system, and create safety within—so your mind no longer has to run the show in survival mode.
This is the beginning of real inner freedom.
-
Managing Thoughts & Feelings
Much of our suffering comes not from our circumstances, but from the meaning we attach to them.
When you begin to see your thoughts as optional—not facts—you unlock powerful freedom. You start to feel the difference between living on autopilot and living on purpose.
In The Practice, you’ll learn to pause, reflect, and respond—rather than react. You’ll develop the tools to hold your emotions with compassion, to calm the inner critic, and to become a steady presence within your own life.
The dance between your thoughts and feelings will become something you lead with care and intention.
-
Relationship with Self & Others
The relationship you have with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship in your life.
But most of us were never taught how to love ourselves without performance, perfection, or people-pleasing. We inherited messages about love, worthiness, sacrifice, and intimacy that often left us disconnected from our true needs and voice.
Together, we explore where those beliefs came from, how they’re playing out in your relationships, and how to rewrite them.
You’ll grow in relational intelligence, emotional maturity, and the ability to connect without abandoning yourself.
Love and connection begin within. From there, everything else expands.

The Daily Practice & How to Change
Change is hard because it threatens the identity we’ve clung to for safety. Whether you're graduating, ending a relationship, shifting careers, or simply waking up to new truths—transition shakes our foundation.
In this work, we normalize the discomfort of change and help you root into what’s real, steady, and true. We ask the brave questions:
Who are you without that title, that path, that old version of yourself?
What would it look like to build something new—not from fear, but from truth?
In The Practice, we teach tools that make change feel less like chaos and more like conscious evolution. You’ll learn how to get back up when life knocks you off your path—and how to walk forward with clarity, wholeness, and agency.
This work isn’t quick-fix.
It’s deep, slow, and sacred.
It’s about becoming more you—with less fear and more freedom.
You don’t have to do it alone.
We’ll walk it together—from the inside out.
“The gift of having a life coach in your child's world is worth every penny. We were at our wit's end in trying to help our son find his way and figure things out with school, his friends, and just being happier, overall. His motivation and mood shifted almost immediately after he started working with Marta, and so did ours! I feel like we all shifted for the better. There is definitely overlap in our parenting and Marta's coaching, but somehow she got through to him differently than we were able to. I think that is part of the magic. And Marta is the secret sauce.”
